Product Description

Supercritical extraction technology is the latest subject in modern chemical separation, and it is an advanced separation process rising in the world at present. The so-called supercritical fluid refers to the fluid whose thermodynamic state is above the critical point (Pc, Tc). The critical point is the point where the gas liquid interface has just disappeared. The supercritical fluid has very unique physical and chemical properties. Its density is close to that of liquid, its viscosity is close to that of gas, and its characteristics such as large diffusion coefficient, small viscosity, and large dielectric constant make it a good solvent with good separation effect. Supercritical extraction means that under high pressure and appropriate temperature, the solvent contacts the extracted substance in the extraction cylinder, the solvent diffuses into the solute, and then changes the operating conditions in the separator to separate out the dissolved substances to achieve the separation purpose.

The supercritical C02 extraction Machine has the following characteristics, because CO2 medium is selected as the supercritical extractant:
1. Wide operating range, easy to adjust.
2. With good selectivity, the required ingredients can be extracted pertinently by controlling the pressure and temperature.
3. The operation temperature is low, and the extraction is carried out under the condition close to room temperature, which is especially suitable for heat sensitive components. The possibility of oxidation in the presence of oxygen and reaction in the presence of light is excluded during the extraction process, and the extract can maintain its natural flavor.
4. From extraction to separation, there is no residual CO2 after extraction.
5. CO2 is non-toxic, tasteless, nonflammable, cheap and easily available, and can be recycled.
6. The extraction speed is fast.



What is supercritical CO2 extraction machine:
The equipment is used to extract substances (solid or liquid) under high pressure and appropriate temperature, and change the conditions in the separator to resolve the dissolved substances, so as to achieve the purpose of separation. The device is mainly composed of extraction tank,separation tank, CO2 high-pressure pump, jacket circulation pump, chiller system, heat exchange system, CO2 storage tank, liquid level gauge, filter system, flow meter, temperature control system, safety protection device, tank barrel hoisting system, etc. The auxiliary equipment and system can meet the requirements of the main supercritical extraction system and process requirements.
