The working principle of extraction tank is simple decocting process. herbal raw material and natural material  is soaked in water and heated by steam. After a certain period of time, the effective ingredients are extracted. The decocting time is determined by the performance of different materials. The amount of material input can not be unified due to the different shapes of herbal raw material and natural material and the difficulty of extracting the effective ingredients, It is suggested that the feeding amount should not exceed two thirds of the volume of the equipment. When extracting aromatic oil, the secondary steam will condense and cool, and then the oil and water will enter the oil-water separator. The light oil will be discharged at the upper part of the separator, and the heavy oil will be discharged at the lower part. The water will be discharged through overflow or backflow (see the pipe orifice orientation and the use and installation diagram for the specific process), This not only can shorten the liquid time, but also can effectively exhaust the residual liquid in the slag to avoid waste. (1) For example, water extraction: water and traditional Chinese medicine are put into the extraction tank, and the interlayer heat source is started. After boiling in the tank, the heat source is reduced, and the boiling in the tank is maintained. The maintenance time is determined according to the extraction process. If the extraction is closed, cooling water is needed to cool the steam and return to the extraction tank to maintain circulation and temperature.

(2) For example, alcohol extraction: first, the medicine and alcohol are added into the tank, which must be sealed, and steam with interlayer heat source is supplied. Turn on the cooling water to reduce the supply of heat source when the temperature in the tank reaches the required temperature, so that the rising vapor state alcohol can flow back into liquid alcohol after passing through the condenser. In order to improve the efficiency, a pump can be used to force circulation, so that the liquid medicine can be sucked out from the lower part of the tank through the pump, and then returned to the tank through the upper part of the cylinder, Local gully flow was relieved.

(3) Oil extraction: first add the Chinese medicine and water containing volatile oil into the extraction tank, open the circulation valve of the oil separator, adjust the bypass return valve, open the supply heat source valve, and open the cooling water when reaching the volatilization temperature for cooling. The cooled liquid should be kept at a certain height in the separator to separate, and then use the oil-water separator alternately.

(4) Recovery of oil essence: add alcohol into the cylinder, open the cooling water for the steam, and then open the recovery valve.
